Want a strong back?

WOULD YOU LIKE A STRONGER BACK?
Our backs do A LOT for us every single day—so maybe it’s time we showed them a little love!
Yoga can be a wonderful way to build strength, improve mobility, support posture and simply get your body MOVING.
Here are 9 poses to explore:
Cobra — gently opens the chest and strengthens the back
Locust — wakes up the back body, glutes and hamstrings
Bow — combines back strengthening with a front-body stretch
Forearm Plank — hello core! Your core helps support your back
Side Plank — challenges your core, shoulders and stability
Reverse Tabletop — strengthens the back body while opening the chest
Bridge — activates the glutes, legs and core
Cat & Cow — brings gentle movement and mobility into the spine
Child’s Pose — a beautiful place to soften, breathe and reset
And remember—you don’t need to force yourself into the “perfect” version of ANY pose. Modify. Use props. Take breaks. Listen to your body.
Strong doesn’t mean rigid.
Strong can also mean mobile, supported, aware and adaptable.
And if your back starts talking to you during practice… LISTEN. We’re building strength, not starting an argument with our spine!
Breathe. Move. Stretch. Be strong. Feel good. LIVE YOUR LIFE!

If you need any instruction around these poses, give me a holler! Love, Eileen

If you have persistent or significant back pain, an injury, numbness/tingling, or another medical concern, get appropriate medical guidance before beginning a new exercise practice.
