Remember Who You Are Yoga LLC

Remember Who You Are Yoga, LLC is a Louisiana-based wellness practice centered on helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, body awareness, and nervous-system-focused practices.

Founded by Eileen Hartenstine, the heart of the business is simple: you don't need to become someone else—you need space to remember who you already are.

The practice brings together yoga, TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises®), Neurogenic Yoga™, and trauma-informed approaches to support relaxation, self-awareness, resilience, and a deeper connection between body and mind. Sessions are designed to meet people where they are, without comparison, perfection, or pressure.

Eileen's approach has also been shaped by her own healing journey and years of teaching yoga. Rather than asking people to force themselves into a particular mold, she encourages them to listen to their bodies, honor their individual needs, and develop practices they can carry into everyday life.

Remember Who You Are Yoga is more than yoga—it is a space to breathe, reconnect, grow, and come home to yourself.

Hello, and welcome!

My name is Eileen Hartenstine, and I am the owner, Certified TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) Practitioner, Neurogenic Yoga Practitioner, and Yoga Instructor of Remember Who You Are Yoga, LLC.

My passion for yoga began in 2010 after I was diagnosed with a Vitamin D deficiency. Struggling to regain the life I once knew, I reluctantly attended my very first yoga class. To be completely honest, I went with a terrible attitude—I didn't want to be there at all! But by the time class ended, something had shifted. I walked out of the studio feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to myself. That single class changed the direction of my life.

As I continued practicing, I experienced firsthand the incredible physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of yoga. What started as a way to feel better became a lifelong passion. About a year later, I followed my dream of becoming a yoga teacher and completed my training in New Orleans at Free To Be.

After earning my certification, I opened my own yoga studio in Chauvin, Louisiana. That studio became a place of healing, connection, and community—one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Although Hurricane Ida took the studio, it never took away my passion or purpose. Instead, it opened the door to a new chapter and new opportunities to serve others.

Today, my teaching has evolved through years of practice, continuing education, and life experience. I have developed a style that blends the strength and flow of Vinyasa, the structure of 26&2, and the discipline of Ashtanga Yoga. My classes are gentle, supportive, and accessible while encouraging students to build strength, improve alignment, increase mobility, and develop confidence in their own bodies. Above all, I believe the most important part of any practice is learning to honor and listen to your own body.

I hold a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification along with a 100-hour Baptiste Yoga Certification, and I have completed numerous additional trainings that continue to enrich my teaching. Every class I teach is guided not only by my education but also by my own personal journey of healing and growth.

In 2025, I attended my first TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) session, and once again, my life was forever changed. I discovered another powerful path for supporting the body's natural ability to release stress and regulate the nervous system. It felt like a missing piece in my own healing journey and a natural complement to my work as a yoga teacher.

Today, I am honored to offer Yoga, TRE®, Neurogenic Yoga, and Embodied Yoga for Trauma Healing as part of my mission to help others reconnect with themselves. Whether you come to me seeking strength, healing, stress relief, nervous system support, or simply a place where you can be yourself, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

At Remember Who You Are Yoga, LLC, I believe healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about remembering who you've always been beneath the stress, the fear, and the stories you've carried.

My greatest hope is that every person who walks through my door leaves feeling stronger, more connected, and more at home in their own body than when they arrived.

I'm so grateful you're here, and I look forward to being part of your journey.
